I received an email this afternoon from a factoring company that has been trying to get on Factoring Solutions approved list for a while. It began “Hi David” 😀

Hi Readers
I run a small, but profitable business with a turnover of less than £200k. RBS Invoice Finance quoted me £8200 in Service Fees, just to keep the service for the coming financial year.
Has anyone else been quoted something Similar?
Many thanks
Jamie
I get the impression that RBS Invoice Finance aren’t interested in any company turning over less than £500,000 but it wouldn’t be politic to say so which is why they seem to be trying to price themselves out of that sector.
As long as you don’t have a huge number of customers you should be looking to pay about half of that at least.
